Work has recently begun in France on the Vimy Foundation Centennial Park, which will be completed to mark the centenary of the end of the First World War in November 2018. The Park is situated on 4 acres of land adjacent to the Canadian National Vimy Memorial site in Northern France. This quiet place of reflection overlooking the Vimy Memorial will have 100 oak trees — descendants of acorns collected on the Vimy battlefield 100 years ago.
The Vimy Foundation actively seeks your support. Vimy Centennial Park Tree donors’ names will be featured on a special donor wall at the Centennial Park in France, as well as on the Vimy Foundation website. Donors will receive a tax receipt for their donation.
