Vimy Pilgrimage Medal presented to Canadian War Museum

On January 20, 2011, The Vimy Foundation presented The Royal Canadian Legion Pilgrimage Medal, worn by King Edward VIII at the unveiling of the Vimy Memorial, to the Canadian War Museum so that it may be conserved and displayed in perpetuity.

Beaverbrook Vimy Prize 2010

The fifth annual scholarship took place August 7 – 21. Winners from all across Canada, England and France spent two weeks together on site in Europe learning about their intertwined history in the First World War and Canada’s role on the world stage.

The Vimy Foundation welcomed General Rick Hillier (ret.) to a special breakfast at the TSX in Toronto. He, along with representatives from the Foundation, were honoured to open the stock exchange that morning.
