Descendants of acorns collected on the Vimy Battlefield are available to plant in public spaces in Canada to commemorate the Battle of Vimy Ridge. Donations will be used to support the creation of the Vimy Centennial Park, located adjacent to the Canadian National Vimy Memorial site in Northern France. The Park will be a quiet place of reflection overlooking the Vimy Memorial and will have 100 oak trees – descendants of acorns collected on the Vimy battlefield 100 years ago.
The Vimy Foundation actively seeks your support, and through your purchase of a Centennial Tree in Canada you will receive a tax receipt as well as recognition on the Vimy Foundation website.
